Have a humble opinion of your own capabilities. It’s not about you.
Be willing to be instructed and learn, realizing you don’t know everything. Assemble a team of experienced, wise men who are under the instruction and guidance of God’s Word
It’s not about you and your vision, it’s about God’s love, mercy and redemption, and your following of God’s will, following the guidance of God as stated in the Holy Scriptures and in the law of God (Exodus 20). You will be measured according to the following of God’s word and implementing the opportunities granted. Examples of the past of missed opportunites include Babylon, Medo-Persia Greece and Rome.
Acknowledge daily, each moment, that God is the Supreme Leader of the universe. It’s His Kingdom, not yours. We are stewards only.
Seek God’s way not your own way. It’s not about force or control, God’s way allows freedom of choice.
Rely upon God fully and completely. Don’t be a fool. God knows you and the ultimate endgame.
Don’t act independently of God. You will be on thin ice.
Character and deportment express the true beauty and value of the man.
It is the inner worth, the excellency and purity of the heart that determines our acceptance with the God of the universe.
Remember, God does not see as man sees. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the God looks at the heart and soul. He sees the potential in every human being and treats life with dignity and respect.
