Having the Spirit of Christ is a requisite to experiencing God’s love.
“You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” Romans 8:9
Once we experience God’s love personally and the Holy Spirit within us, we will love one another. It will come naturally.
“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.”
1 John 4:20
Love to man is the earthward manifestation of the love of God. It was to implant this love, to make us children of one family, that the King of glory became one with us. And when His parting words are fulfilled, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12); when we love the world as He has loved it, then for us His mission is accomplished. We are fitted for heaven; for we have heaven in our hearts. DA 641
Emotional impressions get in the way of our human interpersonal relationships and often are “beams” in our eyes.
God came to save all in the world. All.
“If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.” John 12: 47
Do not judge your fellow man, albeit that what appears to be open and egregious.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank (beam) out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7: 1-5
God looks beyond our faults and weaknesses. He looks to our needs and desires to meet our needs if we would but ask. Ask and ye shall receive.
Jesus had compassionate eyes for the human condition, the hurts, the failures.
Friends, we need emotional healing from all the hurts in our lives. God’s love can heal our hurts, wounds, and distorted thinking.
Christ desires to have relationship with every human being. God is a relational God.
God loves you and want you to receive full deliverance from your emotional baggage.
“I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3: 16-20

The goal of the Christian life is to experience and know the love of God. As we increase in experiencing God’s love in our lives, we will experience God’s presence, fullness and power. This is Holy Spirit power, the Early and the Latter Rain.
You see, “We love because He first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. 1 John 4: 19-21
Those who minister to others will be ministered unto by the Chief Shepherd. They themselves will drink of the living water, and will be satisfied. They will not be longing for exciting amusements, or for some change in their lives. The great topic of interest will be, how to save the souls that are ready to perish. Social intercourse will be profitable. The love of the Redeemer will draw hearts together in unity.
When we realize that we are workers together with God, His promises will not be spoken with indifference. They will burn in our hearts, and kindle upon our lips. To Moses, when called to minister to an ignorant, undisciplined, and rebellious people, God gave the promise, “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” And He said, “Certainly I will be with thee.” Exodus 33:14; 3:12. This promise is to all who labor in Christ’s stead for His afflicted and suffering ones. This promise is for you.
