The Final Events. God’s People Flee to the Wilderness. Part Eighteen in a Series.

The Final Events.

God’s People Flee to the Wilderness.

 Part Eighteen in a Series.

God’s people flee to the wilderness as the “death decree” is passed, God’s Love people know that the world is now completely taken over by demons and that the freedom-loving image of God is irrevocably defaced from those who have given themselves over to the system of church-state worship.

The proclamation of the gospel can achieve no more for the world.

Therefore, the faithful followers of Jesus flee from the cities into the wilderness to escape the persecution and await their Lord’s imminent coming.

“Therefore, when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!

And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

Matthew 24: 15-21

“And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!” Revelation 18:2

“As the decree issued by the various rulers of Christendom against commandment keepers shall withdraw the protection of government and abandon them to those who desire their destruction, the people of God will flee from the cities and villages and associate together in companies, dwelling in the most desolate and solitary places.

Many will find refuge in the strongholds of the mountains. Like the Christians of the Piedmont valleys, they will make the high places of the earth their sanctuaries and will thank God for the munitions of rocks.” GC 625, 626

The Final Events will end with the splendor of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also known as the Parousia. The Signs of Parousia are detailed in the Final Events series and emphasize the Imminent Return and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

Will the Lord forget His people in this trying hour?

Did He forget faithful Noah when judgments were visited upon the antediluvian world?

Did He forget Lot when the fire came down from heaven to consume the cities of the plains?

Did He forget Elijah, Joseph, Jeremiah?

Did He forget the three worthies in the fiery furnace or Daniel in the den of lions?

Will He forget you? Absolutely not.

“Behold I have graven you on the palms of my hands.” Isaiah 49:16

“He that touches you, touches the apple of His eye.” Zechariah 2: 8
