Religion is a practical saving energy, a principal wholly from God, a personal experience of God’s renewing power upon the soul.

The most bitter opposers of truth today are found among those who profess to be its defenders. We live in a time where one will hear and not understand, seeing one will not see and not perceive; for sadly, the heart of the humankind is deceitful and the ears are dull of hearing; and sadly, the eyes have been closed, otherwise one would see with one’s eyes and hear with one’s ears and understand with one’s heart, and one be converted, God would heal their souls and understand the omnipotent love, grace and mercy of God.

We should not be disheartened because those who have no love for truth refuse to be convinced by the clearest evidence. We need not flatter ourselves that the formal and world loving religions of this age are not more ready to receive the teaching of God’s word then were those of ages past. The most bitter opponents of truth today are found among those who profess to be its defenders.

The truth always involves a cross. Those who will not believe, oppose, and deride those who do believe. This is the Christian’s legacy. The cross of Jesus Christ.

According to the book of Revelation, written by John the Revelator, the “Battle of Armageddon” is the final phase of the Great War between good and evil. The word Armageddon is used by John to direct our attention to the ancient showdown on Mount Carmel between the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Baal.

Armageddon is a Greek combination of two Hebrew words: Har which means mountain, and Megiddo which was an ancient city near Mount Carmel. Har Megiddo or Armageddon is none other than Mount Carmel.

John wants us to understand that the Battle of Armageddon is in an end time reenactment of the ancient battle that occurred on Mount Carmel.

Elijah’s message to the people was: “How long are you going to sit on the fence, teeter tottering between two opinions? If Yahweh is God follow Him; But if Baal, follow him.”

The final war of human history will revolve around one core issue: the true worship of the one and only true God versus a false worship system masquerading as true worship.

The Final Events will end with the splendor of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also known as the Parousia. The Signs of Parousia are detailed in the Final Events series and emphasize the Imminent Return and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

The whole human race will be called upon to choose between two worship systems, based on two opinions regarding the character of God. A false religious system will misrepresent the character of God while claiming to represent Him, like the ancient prophets of Baal.

By contrast like the ancient work of Elijah there will be a “Yahweh, He is God” movement that will proclaim the truth about God by pointing to Jesus as the one in whom God is accurately, beautifully, completely and definitely revealed. May the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you this day, as you choose your destiny. The Parousia or Second Coming of Jesus is real. Get ready, get ready, get ready.
