At the second coming of Jesus, the Millennium begins.
With the saints in heaven and the wicked dead on earth, Satan and his demonic hosts are bound in isolation to a desolate planet in complete ruins.
With nobody to tempt and deceive, the devil and all his fallen angels are left alone to contemplate their diabolical handiwork.
During the Millennium, the saved of all ages are with Christ in heaven having all their questions answered, reviewing the cases of all lost souls, and confirming their confidence in all God’s decisions regarding each one.
The entire history of the great controversy between good and evil is examined. A process of “judgment”, or full disclosure, unfolds, through which God’s just and merciful love is evident to all.
“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
The Final Events will end with the splendor of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also known as the Parousia. The Signs of Parousia are detailed in the Final Events series and emphasize the Imminent Return and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Revelation 20: 1-6
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.
“Those who see you will gaze at you,
And consider you, saying:
‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
Who shook kingdoms,
17 Who made the world as a wilderness
And destroyed its cities,
Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’ “Isaiah 14: 12- 17
“Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?”
1 Corinthians 6: 3
For six thousand years, Satan’s work of rebellion has “made the earth to tremble”. He has made the world as a wilderness and destroyed the cities thereof. And he “opened not the House of his prisoners”.
For six thousand years his prison house has received God’s people, and he would have held them captive forever; but Christ has broken his bonds and set the prisoners free.
For a thousand years, Satan will wander to and fro in the desolate earth to behold the results of his rebellion against the law of God. During this time his sufferings are intense.
Since his fall, his life of unceasing activity has banished reflection; but he is now deprived of his power and left to contemplate the part which he has acted, since first he rebelled against the government of heaven, and to look forward with trembling in terror to the dreadful future when he must suffer for all the evil that he has done and be punished for the sins that he has caused to be committed.
During the thousand years between the first and second resurrection the judgment of the wicked takes place. At this time the righteous reign as “kings and priests unto God they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years”. Revelation 20 :4, 6
“The saints shall judge the world.” 1 Corinthians 6:2
In union with Christ, they judge the wicked, comparing their acts with the statute book, the Bible, and deciding every case according to the deeds done in the body.
At the close of the thousand years, the second resurrection will take place.
Then the wicked will be raised from the dead and appear before God for the execution of the judgment written. “They shall be gathered together as prisoners are gathered in the pit and shall be shut up in the prison and after many days they shall be visited”. Isaiah 24: 22 “ GC 658- 661
