God promises are true.

God does not lie.

God speaks and it is.

According to Everett Storms, a schoolteacher from Ontario, Canada, there are 7,467 promises in the Bible, one each day for twenty years.

The overarching theme of God’s promises is:

God has got this.

Don’t be discouraged. Whatever happens, have faith in God, God will take care of you.

The following is a brief description of God’s seven key promises.

  1. Forgiveness

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

  1. Strength

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

  1. Support

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

  1. Peace

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3

  1. Freedom from Fear

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4: 18

  1. Assurance

“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” Matthew 28:20

  1. Authority

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” John 1:12

God has got your situation. He knows everything about you.

Don’t be discouraged. Whatever happens, have faith in God, God will take care of you.

Every promise in the Book is mine, every chapter, every verse, every line.

A better day is coming.

God’s Promises Do Not Fail

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7, 8.

“Ask.” The asking makes it manifest that you realize your necessity; and if you ask in faith, you will receive. The Lord has pledged His word, and it cannot fail. If you come with true contrition, you need not feel that you are presumptuous in asking for what the Lord has promised. When you ask for the blessings you need, that you may perfect a character after Christ’s likeness, the Lord assures you that you are asking according to a promise that will be verified. That you feel and know you are a sinner, is sufficient ground for asking for His mercy and compassion….

“Seek.” Desire not merely His blessing, but Himself…. Seek and you shall find. God is seeking you, and the very desire you feel to come to Him, is but the drawing of His Spirit. Yield to that drawing. Christ is pleading the cause of the tempted, the erring, and the faithless. He is seeking to lift them into companionship with Himself. “If thou seek Him, He will be found of thee.”

“Knock.” We come to God by special invitation, and He waits to welcome us to His audience-chamber. The first disciples who followed Jesus were not satisfied with a hurried conversation with Him by the way; they said, “Rabbi, where dwellest Thou?” … Let those who desire the blessing of God, knock and wait at the door of mercy with firm assurance, saying, For Thou, O Lord, hast said, “Everyone that asks receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks it shall be opened.”

May your faith and confidence in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit give you peace and the assurance of His Word.

Trust in the Lord. His promises are true. God does not lie.
