Part Five in a Series.
Jesus explained that the proclamation of the gospel— the good news of God’s saving grace— as a “witness” to “all nations” is the pivotal factor of earth’s final events.
Once that happens then the end will come.
Everyone will have decided for or against Christ.
The apostle Paul defined the gospel of Christ as “righteousness by faith” empowered by God’s love.
Because the true worship of the one and only true God is motivated by love alone, the apostle Paul says the outworking of the gospel is liberty.
Any form of religious coercion or church- state union is, therefore, contrary to the gospel. Paul further explains that the “god of this age”, Satan, is on an insane quest to blind human minds to the truth “lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them”.
Satan’s entire mission is to block people’s vision of God’s love as revealed in Christ. He does this by means of false teachings that all equate to various forms of salvation by works, leading people to imagine God favor must be earned, thus making fear rather than love the motive for worshipping God.
The Final Events will end with the splendor of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also known as the Parousia. The Signs of Parousia are detailed in the Final Events series and emphasize the Imminent Return and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4: 4-6
“The church is God’s fortress, His city of refuge, which He holds in a revolted world. Any betrayal of the church is treachery to Him who has bought mankind with the blood of His only begotten son. From the beginning, faithful souls have constituted the church on earth.
In every age the Lord has had His Watchmen, who have borne a faithful testimony to the generation in which they lived. These sentinels gave the message of warning and when they were called to lay off their armor, others took up the work.
God brought these witnesses into covenant relation with Himself, uniting the church on earth with the church in heaven.
He has sent forth His angels to minister to His church, and the gates of hell have not been able to prevail against His people.” AA 11
